Grateful
Our goal is always to not have to ‘float the boats” and we were Blessed to not to have to! Our Pinnacle Search and Rescue team is grateful that our communities were spared another devastating flood event. Many of our friends, family, and neighbors just finished rebuilding from the 2016 flood.
Our leadership teams can’t possibly express how grateful and proud we are of our volunteers. Pinnacle Search and Rescue is its volunteers! With every deployment, our volunteer base grows.
Please know that we are grateful for each of you that gives your time and resources to serve others whether in the field, at home, or through donations. If you are interested in volunteering please go to Join the Team
Building Relationships With Other SAR Groups
Recently we have been working to build relationships with other like-minded SAR groups to be more effective during deployments.
This was our first run together and it was a welcome change, we were able to cover more areas together, which will certainly benefit our communities.
Thank you, Triton Relief Group and Lake Charles Cajun Navy! Together we will soon release more information on this new coalition, LACER, Louisiana Coalition for Emergency Response.
Our Northwest Division Director John Able was stationed in Jeanerette, LA. with Cajun Coast Search and Rescue, we have been working with this group since last year, they are a K-9 team that does amazing work finding the lost. thank you, Toney Wade, for trusting our teams.
We worked directly with authorities and had our new command unit set up with a team at the Baton Rouge Police headquarters ready to deploy.
Our third team was in Denham Springs working directly with the Livingston Parish Sheriff”s Department and Fire District 4. We are here to assist authorities when needed, please remember in emergencies always call 911 first!
Pinnacle Search and Rescue has partnered with Christ’s Community Church in Denham Springs, LA to serve our community. Thank you for opening your doors to house our volunteers your Heart to Serve is priceless. THIS IS CHURCH!
Please be in prayer for our volunteers today as some head home, while others work on animal rescues and debris cleanup as tornadoes move through our area.
