Unfortunately, with tornadoes, there isn’t as much warning for the areas that may be affected.
When we see that an area has been hit, we begin reaching out to local authorities to see if they need assistance and, if so, in what capacity.
Typically, when a tornado hits, it is fast, and the destruction can be severe.
An EF0 tornado will probably damage trees but not substantial structures, whereas an EF5 tornado can rip buildings off their foundations.
While we can get a jump start on deployment for hurricanes, tornadoes don’t give us as much warning, and our implementation is a bit different due to the areas hit and what kind of damage has occurred.
